PRIVACY POLICY
Restaurant & Cafe Consulting
1. COMPANY AND CONTACT
Restaurant & Cafe Consulting (the “App”) is provided under the legal identity RESTAURANT & CAFE CONSULTING, LLC (United States). For questions about this policy or the App, Email please contact dev@restaurantcafeconsulting.site.
2. WHAT THE APP DOES
The App offers information about restaurant and café consulting concepts, learning resources, on-device restaurant business calculators, a six-part self-assessment, favourites, and a consultation-brief planner. The current version does not transmit consultation briefs to the company, book appointments, run online payments, or create accounts. No company acceptance or confirmation is implied when you finish preparing a brief in the App.
3. INFORMATION YOU CAN ENTER
The consultation planner processes these fields:
• Name (required) — identifies the consultation brief.
• Email address (required) — provides future contact context within the brief; the App does not send it automatically.
• Business type (selected in the App) — categorises your type of hospitality business.
• Consulting area (selected in the App) — records the topic of interest.
• Business goals or challenges (required) — describes the business topic you want to explore.
• Phone number (optional) — additional contact context.
• Business name (optional) — context for your business.
• Preferred timeframe (optional, initially “Flexible”) — planning preference.
Required fields must be provided to complete a brief. You can browse informational content without entering any of these details. Saved drafts and completed briefs include their creation date and an internal on-device record identifier.
4. OTHER ON-DEVICE INFORMATION
The App may store: favourite consulting service IDs; identifiers for up to 12 recently viewed consulting services; the type, calculated summary and date of a business calculation you choose to save (not the unsaved input numbers); six self-assessment responses, calculated score and date; and an onboarding preference. Search text and unsaved calculator inputs are not transmitted or used for behavioural analytics.
5. HOW INFORMATION IS HANDLED
The App uses Android app-private SharedPreferences to store information on your device for your convenience. The current source project does not include a network API, cloud database, analytics, advertising, Firebase, tracking SDK, login system or payment gateway. The Android manifest does not request Internet, location, camera, microphone, or media-library access. Locally saved records are not transmitted to the consulting company by the App. The App does not sell locally stored personal information.
6. EMAIL CONTACT AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
If you choose Contact Us → Write an Email, the App can open a separate email application with the contact email and a suggested subject line. You decide what to write and whether to send it. That email application and provider process anything you send according to their own privacy terms. Tapping this action does not submit any saved consultation brief. If no email application is available, the App offers a copy-email alternative.
7. RETENTION AND DELETION
Saved briefs, drafts, favourites, recent services, saved calculation summaries, assessment records and preferences stay on your device until deleted. You can delete individual records in My Journal, remove favourites, choose Privacy Policy → Delete All App Data, clear the App's Android storage, or uninstall the App. Unsaved form/calculator state normally disappears when you leave or restart the relevant screen. Deleted data cannot be restored through the App. Automatic backups are disabled in the supplied Android manifest.
8. DATA SECURITY
App-private preferences are protected by Android's application sandbox. However, no software or device storage can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. Protect your device with an appropriate screen lock. The App does not store complete payment card numbers, CVV, account passwords or online-banking credentials.
9. CHILDREN
The App is designed for hospitality business planning and is not specifically directed at children. It does not provide features designed to collect information from children. Please do not enter a child's personal information in consultation notes.
10. ADVERTISING, ANALYTICS AND PAYMENTS
The supplied App version does not use advertising SDKs, behaviour analytics, app accounts, Firebase services, online payments, or automatic personal-data transmission. If a future release adds these capabilities, this policy and the store disclosures must be updated to reflect the implementation.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may revise this policy if the App's features, data handling or applicable requirements change. The date at the top indicates the stated effective version. Material changes should be communicated through the updated App or an appropriate store listing.
